We are pleased to announce that MBC will enter phase 1 of our re-opening. On Monday Gov. Kemp signed an executive order allowing churches to resume in-person worship services, as long as social distancing guidelines are followed. After careful review of those guidelines and recommendations from the Georgia Baptist Convention and others, we have developed the following plan to open safely and carefully:
PROGRAM
This is our schedule until we can move to the next phase of our re-opening:
Sunday School will meet at 10:00 a.m. ONLINE ONLY.
Sunday AM Worship will meet 11:00 a.m. IN-PERSON & ONLINE.
Sunday PM Worship will meet 7:15 p.m. ONLINE ONLY.
Wednesday Prayer Meeting will meet 7:00 p.m. ONLINE ONLY.
PROCEDURES
During this phase we must follow the following procedures during in-person services:
6 foot social distancing at all times
Designated seating (6 feet distance, seats will be marked with bulletins)
Offering drop-off at the back of the sanctuary
No nursery, restroom or kitchen access
Short services, no more than 45 minutes max.
PROTECTION
Please use these protective measures:
Wear masks
Sanitizer will be available at the entrances to the building.
Those who are sick or have underlying conditions, stay home, contact your doctor if you have symptoms and contact us to let us know how we may pray for you and minister to you. As always, use your judgment and stay safe.
